The 15th Annual San Diego Triathlon Challenge (SDTC) returns to beautiful La Jolla Cove on Sunday, October 26, 2008. What began as a fundraiser to help one athlete paralyzed in a triathlon has grown in to a celebration of life and sport that makes a real difference in the lives of hundreds of physically challenged athletes. Every year, SDTC fundraisers allow CAF to change lives -- helping a challenged athlete learn teamwork through the donation of a basketball wheelchair... providing freedom with a handcycle... and giving all our athletes the confidence and self-esteem that comes from participation in sports. 1.2 mile ocean swim beginning and ending at La Jolla Cove / 56 mile challenging and hilly bike ride / 13.1 mile hilly run from La Jolla Cove to Torrey Pines State Park and back.
