Nell Stephenson Presents Paleo for Optimal Health

"Back in the early days of LA Tri, when the group was small enough to hold our monthly meetings at a little pizza place in Culver City, Nell Stephenson joined as a brand new, sprint distance triathlete. (She's member # 19!). After years of dedicated training, an amazing coach, an incredibly supportive (and fellow competitive IM Athlete) husband, and, most importantly, proper PALEO nutrition, she's gone from a mid-pack age grouper with a goal of 'just finishing without a stomach ache' to a five time Kona Athlete with an IM PR of 10:17.

Come learn how she's done it! in 2010, Nell cowrote The Paleo Diet Cookbook with Dr. Loren Cordain, PhD and her second book, Paleoista, Gain Energy, Get Lean and Feel Fabulous Eating with the Diet You Were Born to Eat (Simon & Schuster) will be out in May 2012.

Nell owns and operates her online paleo nutritional counseling business online with clients around the globe to help them learn how to easily implement the principles of the Paleo diet into their lives: effectively, efficiently and permanently, and also sells pre-written download Paleo plans on her website.

She’s working towards her long-term career goal of changing how the America (or maybe even the world!) eats, one person at a time! In addition, she is coordinating Paleo implementation programs for private gyms, corporate health teams and other organizations interested in well being of their people. She speaks about Paleo at seminars such as last year's Ancestral Health Symposium at UCLA, consults for restaurants developing Paleo menus, has blogged and twittered about all things Paleo since 2007 and is producing a series of “How To Cook Paleo” DVDs.
