There is only one word to describe the humble founder of the LA Tri Club, PAUL HEKIMIAN. Positive. The man eats, sleeps, walks and talks it, and regardless of the environment, circumstance or target of his attention -he simply radiates it. His electric energy is contagious if not infectious! Driven by this grand concept of "being positive", Paul has defined his life's work around it and ignites that same spark in the countless people who have the pleasure of meeting or working with him.

In the corporate world, Paul has been the Senior Account Executive at shipping company Overnite Express since '95. Responsible for its new business development effort, he has overseen a doubling of the company's business. Before this tenure, Paul held the position of Administrator at the L.A. law offices of Pircher, Nichols & Meeks. In addition, inspired by a lineage of entrepreneurs, he had tested his ability to start something, literally from scratch, by founding, flourishing and successfully selling his very own specialty cheesecake company, Paul's Cheesecakes.

While his proven track record in the boardroom command attention and respect, Paul further calls upon the influence of his industrialist father, pairing his diverse business expertise with a devout appreciation for collective peak performance and community through athletics. He dove into the world of triathlons in 1997, and since then has successfully completed well over 75 races, including six Half Ironmans. In 2000, Paul acted on his vision of to create the LA Tri Club which provides a network of information, services, training, racing activities and long-lasting friendships for 1450 members of all ages and abilities. He believes that with the right team the possibilities are endless! That said, in the winter of 2006, Paul and his sweetheart, Sylvia, added one more to member to the LATC entourage, becoming the proud parents to a beautiful boy named Lucas. Together with their dog, Yoshi, they reside in Santa Monica.

Paul's latest venture was collaboratively launching the C-Different Foundation, a non-profit that is changing the perception people have of the visually impaired, by actively linking the world of athletics and its life-changing gifts, to the visually-impaired. Through CDF, these athletes are able to participate in events such as triathlon (including the Ironman), increasing their self esteem, independence, and quality of life. Additionally, CDF support other organizations that help fight blindness.

Paul Hekimian is a visionary, whose extraordinary ideas, as both entrepreneur and athlete, have ultimately enhanced the lives of business professionals, friends, athletes and youths across the country. Through Paul's freshest vision, coined The Paulsitive Movement, Paul is surfacing as a Motivational Speaker for today's youth. He has crafted a straightforward message and comprehensible, practical tools that elicit dynamic elements of change and further inspire kids to be proactive in their ascent through all stages of their lives.
