Liz Hamm
Managing Director Liz@LATriClub.com
In 2005 Liz joined the Board of the LATC, where she has since served happily as Managing Director. ABOUT >> Liz found triathlon in college, when coaching swim team, the Rivershire Rattlesnakes of Conroe, TX. The assistant coach, Heather, challenged her to try-tri at the Cinco Ranch sprint. That was in '95. After that, she completed a few more races, but left the sport behind when she left Texas for LA in '97. After completing Honolulu, Los Angeles and San Diego marathons in '03-'04, knees pretty spent... she was looking for something else, and found triathlon again. It was the people, the members of the LA Tri Club, who really showed her how much she'd missed the sport and the camaraderie that went along with it. (Not to mention how much happier her knees were to be swimming and cycling!)... Liz finds it hard to choose a favorite race... but, you can usually find her annually at Wildflower, Malibuuuuu, Santa Barbara and most GenericEvents.com races. Additionally, Liz loves to down-hill mountain bike, hiking and rock climb. When not racing herself, you might likely find her behind a Cannon camera, taking snaps of LATC members in-action! Liz runs the creative department of international investment banking firm, Houlihan Lokey, headquartered in Century City. In 2009 she married fellow Texan and LATCer Jabus Hamm. Go Back
