DESCRIPTION:The Santa Monica Pier provides an unforgettable start for athletes before they take off for a rigorous and awesome swim in the Pacific Ocean. Perfect for amateur and master swimmers alike\, there are two unique courses that start and finish on the beach: \n\n8AM: 1 Mile Ocean Swim\n\n8:15AM: 250m Youth Ocean Swim\n1 Mile Ocean Swim Race @ the Santa Monica Pier. Both wetsuit and non-wetsuit divisions.\n\nRACE START: 8:00 AM\nCHECK-IN: Please arrive for check-in at least 15 minutes prior to start time.\n\nATTIRE: Divisions are broken into wetsuit and non-wetsuit divisions. The use of flotation and or propulsion aids of any kind are prohibited\, including swim fins and hand paddles. All competitors are required to wear the provided swim caps supplied at check-in for safety.
