DESCRIPTION:A student-run triathlon that includes a 1-km swim at Oxnard State Beach\, a 15-mile bike in the beautiful City of Oxnard\, and a 4-mile run through the beach neighborhood.  It is a great longer sprint to prepare for an Olympic distance race!\n\nThe triathlon will be benefiting A Better LA\, a non-profit organization started by USC Football Coach Pete Carroll.  A Better LA works to create change from within the communities of Los Angeles to decrease violence - see abetterla.org for more info about this great organization. $5 of each Open and Relay race entry fee will be donated to A Better LA\, and registrants have the option to donate more through our ActiveGiving program.
