DESCRIPTION:This ocean swim is open to everyone\, and is very beginner friendly.  We meet at 6:15am in the short term parking lot off of Bernard Way\, just south of Ocean Park Blvd.  At 6:30am we will walk to lifeguard tower 26.  At this time those wishing to swim 1 mile will walk south 1 mile\, then enter and swim back\, rounding the buoy before exiting the water.  Those wishing to swim less will walk south accordingly.  For beginners that want to practice their in's and out's\, the suggested workout will be to swim to the buoy and back as many times as they wish.  Feel free to swim as much or little as you want based on your ability or time frame.\n\nNotes:\n1. Please come prepared with a couple $1's to feed the meter.\n\n2. You must be able to swim at least a 1/4 mile straight without stopping.\n\n3. We will usually grab coffee or breakfast afterwards!\n\nLawrence Fong\nLATC Membership Director
