Ron SluyterTraining Director
Ron was born and raised in Michigan, with a brief stint in Japan while his father worked on assignment in Hiroshima for two years. He grew up waterskiing and playing team sports. He is still a fan of all of the Detroit Sports teams and will go watch them when they pass through Southern California. He went to Michigan State University with a degree in Finance and moved to Southern California in 2004, spending 6 years in Long Beach before moving to Playa Del Rey. After his elbow said no more baseball, he became interested in Triathlons as a way to enjoy the ocean and ride along the coast. His first Triathlon was in 2011 at the Golden Gate Bridge and is gearing up for his first 70.3 in 2016. He is excited about the opportunity to help with LA Tri Club with the Pit Crews and has also been a part of the Social Committee.
Ron has been a banker since 1994 and works out of offices in Century City, El Segundo and Costa Mesa. Hobbies include live sporting events, adventure races, movies and travel.
