Amalfi Loops (aka "Riviera Ride)
This is the classic Thursday hill loop that has been used for years by local roadies and triathletes. One loop is about 6 miles so do three or more for a great workout.
The traditional workout has a slight variation on the first loop vs. the remaining loops:
- First loop - Go down San Vicente (SV) to Ocean before descending into the Canyon. Go left onto Entrada and right onto Mesa to climb up to Amalfi
- Remaining loops - Go down SV and right on 7th to descend into Canyon. Then right onto E. Channel (at the elementary school) and climb up to Amalfi.
