2015 Pants Off Racing 10k/5k for Pancreatic Cancer

Pants Off Racing's first annual Almost 10K (and 5K) Again for Pancreatic Cancer at Malibu Creek State Park on October 17, 2015 will include a 1 mile fun run/walk, 5k, and 10k distances. Come experience the POR spirit and help us beat pancreatic cancer. All proceeds from the event are used to assist families and support pancreatic cancer victims. Pants Off Racing's mission is to provide service to those lives affected by pancreatic cancer through time, energy, and goodwill; to integrate and unite generations, through sport participation, while creating public awareness about pancreatic cancer.

The course starts and ends at the Welcome Center (staging area) at the end of the main parking lot. Sprint off into the hills and run up into the scenic Malibu Creek Canyon. Short, strong climbs are worth it to catch the picturesque scenery of the Santa Monica Mountains. As you descend down the back of the canyon the (almost) 10K course will circle through the Salvation Army Camp and then join the Tapia Spur Trail. The trail will lead back to the staging area for a small uphill finish. The 5K course will turn around before the Salvation Army for a beautiful, challenging 3.1 mile loop on the Century Mountainway. This year we will be holding a 1k walk course for those that want to participate and 5k is a little too long for them. This means bring the whole family! Malibu Creek State Park is located at 1925 Las Virgenes Road, Calabasas, CA 91302.
