The Podium Program was created to compensate those members who podium (1st thru 3rd in their respective division plus a bonus for placing 1st thru 3rd overall) at designated races and while racing in the LA Tri Club kit/uniform. In addition to providing a link to the race results with your claim, you will also be required to attach a photograph taken during the race. Racing in a visor or cap only or posing in attire not worn during the race are unacceptable. Claims must be filed by completing the online Podium Program Claim Form(http://www.latriclub.com/racing/podium_form.php) no later than 30 days from the date of the race. All winners will be announced at the Year End Party. Payouts (aka "The Math")
Payouts will be based on placing and the distance of the race (not distance you traveled TO the race). Olympics are indexed at 1.0 with other races having a multiplier that will increase or decrease the payout as follows:

The payouts themselves shake-out as follows: - 1st in division - $50
- 2nd in division - $35
- 3rd in division - $25
Example: An LATC member that gets 1st at California Half would earn $50 x 1.5 for a total of $75. Bonus!
Additionally, anyone getting in the top 3 OVERALL will earn an additional bonus as follows: - 1st age grouper overall add double the normal payout
- 2nd age grouper overall, add 1.5 times the normal payout
- 3rd age grouper overall, add 1 times the normal payout
Example: Thus, a person getting 1st at California Half would earn an ADDITIONAL $150 (2 times the $75 shown in the example above.)
Procedure:
The responsibility for collecting the PP money will rest squarely on the shoulders of the winners. Claim Form. Members will fill out the requisite information which MUST be filled out within 30-days of the Event for which you are making the claim. The form MUST include the following: - Name
- The race they placed in
- Their division
- Their divisional place and overall place (if applicable)
- A link to the results
- A link to the photo site, - an attached photo showing them at the race in uniform

- All racers must be in LATC gear which is defined as a top, bottom, or both. Hat and/or socks alone do NOT qualify. Same as Race Rewards!
- Only races in the program are eligible for money.
- Winners have 30 days from the completion of the race to claim their money.
- Only the actual winner can collect the money. No proxy collection! Checks will be mailed to the address on file with membership.
- Claims must be submitted using the web form. Verbal requests, email requests, requests written on a napkin in crayon, and notes from your mommy will NOT get you paid.
